About this deal

sometimes found the screw lid a little hard to line up as can get cross threaded when placing back on but got used to how it went on. There’s a small, flat lip on the lid so it can be laid down horizontally in a compact microwave, which also means there’s no danger of it rolling around and falling off the kitchen counter. I could have really used the travel steriliser right then, and not wanting to be caught out like that again it was a no brainer. And some small plastic tongs would also be good to get the bottle out with it if wanting it while it is still a little hot.

What we loved about the Milton Solo, though, was that it’s more adaptable and comes with more useful design features than any other travel model we tested. The lightweight nature of the sterilizer adds to its portability, making it a practical choice for travelling families. The Milton Solo should be put upright in a microwave, but can be placed on its side in compact models. This product makes life so much easier when going on a long journey as the water stays sterilised for 24 hours. It may not be reproduced in any way whatsoever without Ocado Limited's prior consent, nor without due acknowledgement. The Milton Solo Travel Steriliser is a 2 in 1 product that allows for either cold water or microwaving sterilisation. Both methods ensured that the bottle stayed sterilised for 24 hours which was unbelievably handy for travelling and when out and about. Speaking of that air valve – the Milton Solo’s lid screws closed tightly, but the valve pops out quite easily so it shouldn’t be left within reach of children, especially when hot. I like using this steriliser when away as I have an older child and by not needing steam I don't have to worry about my older son potentially burning himself if he touches it.

The solution is effective for 24 hours and there is no need to rinse baby items before they go into baby's mouth. Milton Solo Travel Steriliser – 2 in 1 microwave or cold water Single bottle SteriliserIdeal for travel, overnight stays or when you’re away from home. I found it the perfect size for me and my baby as we mainly breastfeed and only occasionally use bottles, I could see how some mums who have more bottles to sterilise would prefer to have a bigger steriliser. If it is only one baby bottle, as long as the cap is clean it needs to be put on to protect the sterilised teat.line add 1 quarter of a Milton Sterilising Tablet or if you are using Milton Sterilising Fluid then 7. Fill your sterilising unit with 5L of cold tap water, add 1 Milton Tablet or 30 ml of Milton Fluid (30 ml dilution at 0.

Screw the lid on, press the safety vent down and gently shake the Milton Solo - the bottle will be ready for use in just 15 minutes and can stay in the solution until needed. It might not come with any extras and, of course, it’s less capacious than a full-sized steriliser (see our round-up of the best sterilisers) – but for all that the Milton Solo is surprisingly flexible, roomy and designed with a number of useful features, which elevated it well above the other travel models we tested, like the Tommee Tippee 2-in-1 and the ClevaMama Soother Tree. While we have taken care in preparing this summary and believe it is accurate, it is not a substitute for your reading the product packaging and label prior to use. Don’t leave home without the Milton Solo travel steriliser – the perfect size to take in your luggage and. There are also no tongs to remove items and it would be good if details re times and amounts were written on the steriliser somewhere as it is probably going to be used away from home.Milton solution remains effective for 24 hours, items can remain in the solution and are ready to use at a moment's notice. Sterilises from just 2 minutes in the microwave or Sterilise in 15 minutes with cold water with sterilising tablets or fluid. If you cannot wait 15 minutes and have a microwave in the vicinity then definitely try the microwave method which again is so simple. It should definitely win and I will do what I can to make more mums aware of this product, as me and my friends were not previously aware of it. For me this product wasn't hugely useful because you can only sterilise one bottle at a time and I found it easier having several bottles ready.
