About this deal

He said to his mystified colleagues that it was like a DB9 where every little piece is a little bit better. What musical content that’s there, is great - the LPs, CDs, DVD, Blu-rays all contain the various mixes of the album, to me they all sound phenomenal and the Atmos version is amazing.

The design of the set is beautiful, however I think it’s fair to say that it’s incomplete for a special 50th anniversary release. Originally released in 1973 and becoming one of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon continues to find new audiences globally. As someone already said, there is a lot of packaging and the box is much bigger than the usual vinyl box sets.Unlike the remix of Animals, this retains the same dynamics, I found I still listened to the same moments in the same way, but the clarity is the thing. Now that they have announced that the last 2 main pieces are being released separately the only thing left is the 2 vinyl singles that are both on the album and don't even appear in picture sleeves. The track running times are for the CD edition of the 2023 remaster which differs slightly from previous versions.

The have and have not's ,those that are trying to make ends meet , with food bank's and cost of living hand out's to keep your your head above water. It promises to be immersive; an all-encompassing surround sound and visual treat that will transcend reality and take you way beyond the realms of 2D experience. The set also includes additional new Blu-ray disc of Atmos mix plus CD and LP of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon - Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974’. The albums story has been told many times, none better than in the ‘classic albums’ documentary (maybe that couldn’t been included too? First released as part of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ 50th Anniversary Box Set, this is the first time that the new remaster of the classic album will be available on its own on LP, CD, and Blu-ray. I have the separate issues of the new vinyl, cd and Blu-ray but what is inside this package is different. The famous sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie.

I already possess the 30th-anniversary SHLV 804 pressing, the 1993 20th-anniversary CD, and numerous other format versions. The set also includes additional new Blu-ray disc of Atmos mix plus CD and LP of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon – Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974’.
