About this deal

You can feel the effort that has gone into making the story engaging and the 'twists and turns' of the story leave you wondering what will happen next. This next book in the series is filled to the brim with the lovely, gentle humour that Serena Patel is know for and is oh so good at. As you can probably guess, I love books and you can often find me making a fool of myself preaching the good gospel of the library to local school children. Serena Patel (Author) Serena Patel is the author of the Anisha, Accidental Detective series which won the Sainsbury's Children's Book Award for Fiction. My super-dramatic Aunty Bindi is getting married to her "sweetie pie" and she's having a MEGA MELTDOWN.

We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child.Omar's mosque is in danger of being closed down, so quick-thinking Omar holds a school talent show to raise the money needed for the emergency building repairs. Milo can't wait to see the wildlife, Manny's learning survival skills, and even Granny's going to have a go at archery. I studied illustration at Kingston University, London, and my second children’s picture book was longlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2005.

First in a really charming, fresh, funny series starring a STEM-loving, British-Indian Sikh girl and her huge, hilarious extended family. We are eagerly anticipating the second book; I hope to hear much more from this author in the future. I've been working sooo hard with Milo and Govi to make our super-erupting volcano for the school science fair.At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills. Anisha's personality leaps off the page, completely realistic for a girl of her age and the various embarrassments caused by grown ups in her life that kids of that age can easily relate to. The humour is deft, the dialogue great and Anisha’s multi-generational British Indian family is an inclusive and wonderful world to escape into.

The books are fun and entertaining but also encourage critical thinking and highlight STEM subjects, which is a bonus. Fun, quick paced and exciting, children will love racing round with Anisha and her friend Milo as they get into all sorts of scrapes and try to discover who really kidnapped Uncle Tony. I've just found a ransom note, pushed through the letter box, saying Uncle Tony, Bindi's husband-to-be, has been kidnapped, and will only be freed if the wedding is cancelled! Trading Address (Warehouse) Unit E, Vulcan Business Complex, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EB.Emma McCann (Illustrator) Emma McCann is a freelance illustrator, sporadic painter/print maker, occasional cake baker, and regular mess maker. My whole family wanted to tag along and visit a festival first, where this super-famous, mega-expensive diamond is on display. She needs to use her scientific skills of logic and deduction to track down Uncle Tony in time for his wedding. It's supposed to be the WEDDING OF THE YEAR but it's tomorrow and it's looking like a "first-class disaster!

This book is delightfully illustrated by Emma McCann in an expressive and amusing way – and the graphic elements of the text make this book accessible and a fun read. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

I can't wait for three days having fun with my friends, learning about animal habitats and being free from grown-ups. There's sabotage on the school trip, in the seventh hilarious case in the award-winning Anisha, Accidental Detective series! Full of gentle humour while addressing some of the big issues that affect many of our children, here is another story which is an absolute delight – packed with fun, written and illustrated with charm and one that covers the excitement and concerns of both a residential visit and the prospect of a new baby in the family. It is also a great book for British Indian girls who now have a central character in a book, that they can relate to. When the money goes missing, it's up to Omar and his friends to become super spies to track down the culprit!
